题目：Hearing graphene

摘要：Graphene, one of the favorite toys among physicists, starts to receive attention from engineers looking for everyday life applications. In this talk, I will introduce how we can use engineering practice to make graphene based acoustic devices.We will hear the music generated by graphene loudspeaker, and the recording from wild bat calls using graphene microphone.

报告人：Prof. Qin Zhou

简介：Qin Zhou (周勤) was born in Sichuan. He received B.E. and M.E from Department of Precision Instrument at Tsinghua University, and Ph.D. from Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Berkeley. He learned about graphene when switched to Department of Physics as a postdoc. In 2015 he joined University of Nebraska, Lincoln as an assistant professor.
